What is the Phonecard Folder?
The Phonecard Folder is an online portal for phonecard collecting where you can establish contacts with phonecard collectors from all over the world, as well as find resources related to the hobby of collecting phonecards of all kinds (optical and magnetic telecards, chip cards, calling cards and other telephone cards).
Members of this Web site are phonecard collectors from various countries. If you are a member too - you can contact any of them, to see what phonecards they would like to exchange, their swap list (phonecards for swap or sale), their want list (phonecards they're looking for) as well as a short personal information of them.
Being a member yourself, you can add your own swap list, want list, phonecards you want to exchange, etc.
Every member can publish short notices about phonecards he/she is interested in, or is willing to exchange, sell or buy. You can easily browse member information and search for members from a specific country. You can also browse all cards which members have published in their want or swap lists, as well as specific cards (i.e. from a given country, topic, year, etc.)
Personal Messages (see the menu above) is the area where you can communicate with the other members - you can write and send a message to a member, read messages from other member(s) to you, organize your messages, mark a message as "important", etc. Personal Messages section works similar to the e-mail systems of Yahoo, Hotmail and AOL.
Favorites help you to organize the members you regularly communicate with into a handy contact list. Notebook section is a simple tool that helps you to organize your notes and reminders.
Besides a great contact network, Phonecard Folder is also an extensive online information resource for phonecard collectors. On this Web site you can find phonecard catalogs by country, hundreds of links to phonecard-related Web sites, news, list of disloyal collectors ("black list"), tips & tricks, as well as a brief overview about other hobbies that you may find interesting.
Membership
Regular membership is free and gives you access to most tools on the site, including personal messages and the message board. Premium membership gives access to some advanced tools and does not have message volume restrictions. We are currently reviewing membership policies and reserve the right to change the membership options at our discretion.
