Phonecard Folder is based and relies on its members, their communication and activities. Members themselves, membership communication and contacts are the most important and essential part for the Phonecard Folder project. Therefore it's a matter of most serious importance to grant and respect privacy of anyone related to the website - members, visitors and advertisers.

Anyone who uses Phonecard Folders website and services (which includes website visitors, members, advertisers, content providers, etc.) must read and have agreed with all items of this document. If you do not agree completely with or you do not understand completely any of the statements in this document you should not use Phonecard Folder (website or services) in any way.

Phonecard Folder is not responsible for any incorrect, improper, offensive, unsolicited or any other way unwanted use of your information (provided at the website) by third parties such as website members or visitors. Phonecard Folder is not responsible in any way for any criminal or other harmful activities, which the usage of information, provided by its members and visitors may lead to.

1. Information provided by you at sign up, creating profile and on the other pages of the website

When you sign up as a member of Phonecard Folders you are asked to provide personal information such as first and last name, birth date, location (city, state/region, country), etc.; when creating and setting up your member profile you are asked to provide information about your phonecards collecting hobby, other hobbies and interests, and other information about yourself. On some other pages you may provide other information such as phonecards you want to trade/swap, phonecards you are looking for, personal description of yourself/your personality, and any other information you may provide on the webpages such as personal messages, message board posting, website contents posted, etc.

In your communication to the other members (such as message board, personal messages, contents postings, etc.) you may also provide personal or other information about yourself. This type of information is provided by you and entirely under your discretion and control. Providing more detailed information that required explicitly in the website, as well as any information that may bring harm to yourself, people related you, your business, organization and/or anyone/anything else is entirely up to your discretion.

Please, note that such information and the extend of its providing is entirely on your responsibility. Please, note that you are able to control the amount and matter of most of the information provided by you in any way at the website.

2. Disclosing your personal and other information related to you

All information you provide at sign up, creating profile and all the other pages of the website is used and will be used solely and only for the purposes of the website such as your communication with the other members, improving user interface, developing website functionalities, website technical and other support, and providing more information for the website or website contents.

All personal and other information provided by you will not be disclosed to anyone who is not related to Phonecard Folder, unless:

It is required by official state or national institutions such as legal representatives, police, FBI (for USA citizens), government, national army, etc.;
It is required by the website owner or it's employees for website support and development purposes
It is required by the technical stuff administering the website or the website you have created at Phonecard Folder for technical support purposes
We have doubts about violating Terms of Use of this site

Any other usage of your information not described above will be performed ONLY UNDER YOUR EXPLICIT AGREEMENT AND PERMISSION.

3. Your e-mail address and Phonecard folder anti-SPAM policy

E-mail address of Phonecard Folder members ARE NOT and WILL NOT BE disclosed to the other members, site visitors and any other third parties; the only exceptions to the this statement will be made under conditions described above in statement 2.1.

If anyone uses your e-mail information provided at the website for sending you spam or any other unsolicited e-mail - please, contact us and provide all information that may help us to investigate the problem and alarm the appropriate institutions.

4. Cookies and Favorites

Cookies are a technology used by most browsers to store any website data to your computer. Phonecard folder also uses or may use cookies to data to your computer. The data we store or will store is/will be ABSOLUTELY HARMESS AND SAFE; it is required regular work with the website and is strongly recommended for your convenience.

5. Personal Message and Message Board

Personal Messages is a functionality allowing you to contact with the other members personally, which means your messages are not visible for the other members. We do not and will not read or retrieve information any way from any of your personal messages to the other members unless:

It is required by official state or national institutions such as legal representatives, police, FBI (for USA citizens), government, national army, etc.;
We have doubts about violating Terms of Use of this site

The information achieved from your personal messages will be used ONLY by Phonecard Folder and/or (if explicitly needed) by official state or national institutions such as legal representatives, police, FBI (for USA citizens), government and national army.

Message Board is public messaging area and all your messages posted will be available for the other members.

Your Personal Message and Message Board postings are personal information about you therefore all statements declared in 1. and 2. are valid and effective.

6. Notebook notes

Notebook tool allows you to add reminders, notes, links and any other useful information. You may use it as your own online notebook. We do not put any restrictions to the information you save in your Notebook, DO NOT and WILL NOT read it or access it any other way unless it is required by official state or national institutions such as legal representatives, police, FBI (for USA citizens), government, national army;

Your Notebook notes postings is personal information about you therefore all statements declared in 1. and 2. are valid and effective.

7. Payment for membership subscription and other services

The information you provide when making payment for membership subscription or any other services and/or products IS NOT and WILL NOT be read or accessed by us in any way unless:

We have problems receiving or assimilating it
It is required by official state or national institutions such as legal representatives, police, FBI (for USA citizens), government, national army, etc.

8. Important site-related e-mails

All website members may occassionally receive important site-related e-mails, such as site update notices, new services offered by the site, site administrator messages, messages regarding membership of a certain member, special promotions, changes and updates and any other important information related to the website. Those messages are not spam and should not be considered as spam because they are required to support membershipship database and to respect their membership status. Those messages will be occassional and the member will have an option to unsubcribe.

9. Modifying members' and other information in our database

We keep our right to modify members' and other information, entered in our database in one of the following situations:

That change is requested by the member who had added it to our database
That information violates our Terms of Use agreement and Privacy policy
The information impedes website's functionality and usability
That change is required for site's maitenance and/or bigfixes

The changes we make:

Will not drastically modify the information contents
Will be done very rarely and in specific cases only
Will be quite little and simple - usually correcting obvious mistakes in name of locations, addresses (incl. e-mail ones), names, etc.
Are not intended to cause any damage to anyone

If anyway such changes cause any damages to anyone - we shall not be held responsible. If for some reason a serious change to members' data is needed - we will request that from the member him/herself.

10. Resizing member photos

The website design requires that photos of Phonecard Folder members (which are displayed in their profile) to have specified fixed size. Since we do not expect the website members to be able to process web graphics themselves, we allow to upload images of any size and thereafter those images are been resized and formatted as needed. In some specific cases it might be needed to remove blank areas and objects, which are not part of the member's look (such as buildings, streets, natural objects, etc.); such edits will be made only if they prevent the viewers from seeing member itself. Phonecard Folder will not allow to publish any photos, which do not display the member itself and/or are disturbing or annoying for the viewers (such as pornography, violence, etc.). The edits made to member photos aim only to make the member's face (and body) best viewed.
Please, note that under no circumstances we will modify members images in any way, which could be annoying or insulting for them or for the other website users.

11. Updating the Privacy Policy of Phonecard Folder

We reserve our right to update this Privacy Policy. We advise you occasionally to check for new version of this document. All members will be notified for any significant changes to the Phonecard Folder Privacy Policy.
